Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an internationally recognized and standardized method for evaluating the environmental impacts of a product or service from "cradle to grave". These "product" approaches can lead to significant environmental gains, but they do not call into question lifestyles to meet the environmental challenges that humanity must face. This video explains in 4 minutes how LCA can be applied to the scale of territories in their entirety. The territory is indeed the appropriate scale to modify much more deeply our modes of production, consumption and to be up to the challenges posed by the ecological transition.
