Perth to Sydney in half an hour

A timelapse video I made driving from Perth to Sydney in Sept/Oct 2012, towards the end of a 3-month, 20,000km road trip around Australia.
Camera is a Swann go-pro equivalent; photos were taken at a 2-second interval.
Note as it gets darker/night, exposure time increases, but interval between photos is still 2 seconds, hence the warp drive effect.

43311 photos went into this; I used the very excellent FastStone Photo Resizer to resize, crop, renumber and collate all the source images into one folder, then FFmpeg to compile into the movie.

I'm thinking of doing another vid without all the stops, so it's one continuous drive. What say you? Let me know in the comments...

Vehicle is my trusty 1999 VW Transporter which I campervanned for the trip. Fridge, batteries, solar panels, slide-out kitchen, comfy bed and loads of storage = infinite camping luxury!
