The DeskProto 3D CAM software can create toolpaths for 5-axis machines: in this video we explain step by step how that is done. The video starts with a short explanation of five-axis CNC, and of the type of 5-axis toolpaths that DeskProto supports (the limitations are: only for machines where the part rotates, and only indexed machining). Then the video shows how to create toolpaths for five sides of a simple die, after which the die is machined in PS foam. After this tutorial you will be able to create your own 5-axis toolpaths with DeskProto.
