Sanctuary Fortified Village Settlement Tour (Immersive Gameplay mod)

So I've been playing the heck out of the Immersive Gameplay mod lately and--like Moribund World--it definitely influenced and changed my building style. The regular scrappitude is there, but the layout and design is... different. Much different. Heck, it's surrounded by walls! What's up with that?

This defensible village in Sanctuary grew from necessity; my character is not strong enough or skilled enough to range very far, and it became very clear very quickly that he needed a fortified full-service base as quickly as he could manage. This is what he and a dozen settlers came up with.
