Welcome to our first podcast as a family! We have been wanting to do this for a while now. Austin, Jordan and I want to develop our communication skills and are grateful that my dad Gary has the expertise we need. We are learning by doing and hopefully our skills will improve as we go along. Anything worth doing well is worth doing badly until your skills are perfected. The reason for it all is the importance of the content. We want to share the significance of the Bible with as many as will listen. This episode is about the book of First John. I hope you find it helpful.

Inside info: In order to more easily produce an episode regularly we decided to simply record our Wednesday night Bible class. Since we are the only ones in the class it makes since! That's really too bad but we are taking advantage of the situation. Each week we select a subject. Currently the class is studying the New Testament books sequentially. Next we gather some material to preview and each of us makes notes, written or otherwise. Then when we get to class we hit record, share a mic and go from there. We hope this will help us think on our feet better and communicate clearly. Most importantly however, we want to convey the truth that can only be found in the Bible.
