We made these trinket dishes from oyster shells we've found on the beach this year. We recently had them at a trunk show and they were a big selling item for holding stitch markers, or holding jewelry, or any small items that you'd like. They make lovely gifts or favors too!

Supplies:
Oyster Shells
Modpodge (gloss finish)
Acrylic Paint
Scissors
Paintbrush

Clear Gloss Spray (I used Rustoleum Triple thick glaze High gloss coating)

Please note: The shells we collect do not have any creatures in them. We are very mindful of our ocean friends. Oyster shells are not used by hermit crabs as homes so we are not taking real estate away from them. :) The small amount of shells we collect is but a literal drop in the ocean.
