EPISODE #54: Making coasters from found wood is fun. They’re great gifts, with big impact, for a small amount of work. I was cutting firewood last fall and tossed a small maple burl to the side. Who knew it would turn into these swirling spalted wafers? In this episode we learn some tips and techniques to make them...including a clever time-saving jig on the bandsaw. Come on into the shop!
