Beloved Canadian singer-songwriter Fred Penner performs a brand-new song inspired by his encounter with a former World Vision sponsored child, Edgar.

A few years ago, Fred Penner was lucky enough to meet Edgar, a former sponsored child from the Philippines. Thanks to a generous Sponsor, Edgar rose up out of poverty and now lives in Canada with his wife and children, working as a World Vision employee.

Fred Penner wrote “Somebody Believes”, after his encounter with Edgar. Now he shares the love and inspiration from this meeting with the world in hopes that it will encourage you to take action.
