Atishi | Aam Aadmi Party | Kejriwal | Delhi To Welcome Its 3rd Female Chief Minister

Atishi is set to take oath as Delhi Chief Minister on September 21.

This comes after Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena proposed September 21 as the date for the swearing-in of Chief Minister-designate Atishi.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday announced that Atishi will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi, Replacing Kejriwal,who announced his resignation from his post on Sunday.

Atishi will be the third woman to take oath as Delhi's Chief Minister, following Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dixit.

She will also be the second woman currently serving as Chief Minister in India, after Mamata Banerjee.

The entire cabinet is reportedly expected to take oath along with her on September 21.
