Purchased on Oct 31, 2009, the bike has 109,000 km, been through 14 seasons. Trips include Americade for 25 years, Skyline Drive, Great Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, Finger Lakes, Watkins Glen, Allegheny Mountains, Southern Ontario, Adirondack Mountains, Michigan Penninsula, and more.

After 60 years of riding, this is the most comfortable, reliable, trouble-free bike I have ever owned. I have owned many British bikes, one Honda, one Kawasaki, 2 Harley full dressers (one with a suicide shift). On the Yamaha, I love the V-4 engine, the torque, the gear ratios, the sitting position, the retro dash, the radio, CB, intercom and accessories, the style and lines of the bike. For me it is a "head turner" and a joy to ride.
