1960년대에 개장한 대림시장 또한 50년간 서울 은평구의 역사와 함께한 전통시장 입니다. 응암동 소재의 대림시장은 은평구에서 가장 오래된 전통시장이며, 서울에서 유일하게 5일장을 여는 시장이기도 하합니다. 대림시장은 유명한 먹거리나 볼거리가 있는 전통시장이라기보다 지역 주민들의 생활을 책임지는 생활밀착형 전통시장에 가깝습니다. 음식점보다는 농수산물, 청과, 각종 생활용품, 의류 등이 주요 품목이며, 특정한 시기에만 수요가 몰리는 상품들이 아니기 때문에 대림시장은 늘 사람들로 붐빕니다.

Hello, this is Jmh Walker. Today, I looked around Daerim Market and Shin Eungam Market in Eungam-dong, Eunpyeong-gu.
Daelim Market, which opened in the 1960s, is also a traditional market with 50 years of history in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. Daerim Market, located in Eungam-dong, is the oldest traditional market in Eunpyeong-gu, and is also the only market in Seoul that is open five days a day. Daelim Market is closer to a lifestyle-oriented traditional market that takes care of the lives of local residents rather than a traditional market with famous food or attractions. Rather than restaurants, the main items are agricultural and marine products, fruits and vegetables, various daily necessities, and clothing, and because these products are not in demand only at specific times, Daelim Market is always crowded with people.
