The latest HPE MP storage AI solution is the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 with its new data intelligence node. This solution is specifically designed to accelerate data readiness and management for AI workloads, particularly in the context of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI.

Key AI-focused features of the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 include:

First, an Integrated Data Intelligence Node: This new node processes data at the storage level, enabling automated, inline metadata tagging and classification as data is ingested. This transforms raw data into "AI-ready" data, streamlining AI pipelines and accelerating insights.

Now let's discuss RDMA for S3-compatible storage: A groundbreaking innovation developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, this technology uses Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) to bypass traditional network bottlenecks (like the HTTP stack). It dramatically increases throughput (up to double) and reduces latency by up to 80% for object storage access, which is crucial for high-performance AI training and inference.

And then there's Unified and Scalable Architecture: Built on the HPE Alletra MP platform, it provides a single, disaggregated system that can scale performance and capacity independently, managing both file and object storage workloads through the HPE GreenLake cloud platform. This eliminates data silos and simplifies data management across the hybrid cloud.

Then there's, Integration with AI Frameworks: HPE provides RDMA-enabled SDKs (in C++ and Python) and integrations with leading AI frameworks like PyTorch and plans for TensorFlow and Milvus Vector Database to ensure seamless adoption and maximized performance for AI applications.

And finally, AIOps-powered Management: The system is managed via HPE GreenLake, leveraging AI for infrastructure operations (AIOps) to provide predictive intelligence, automate provisioning, and offer a cloud operating experience for managing thousands of systems easily.
