Uniting Minds and Celebrating Success: Participating in the 2025 World Language Week

oin us for an engaging session focused on maximizing student participation during the 2025 Nebraska World Language Week, themed “Language Uniting Minds.” Participants will explore exciting activities planned for each themed day—Spanish Day, French Day, German Day, Chinese Day, and World Cultures Day—as well as learn about the Distinguished World Language Scholar Award, which honors outstanding student achievements, and the new Student Language Spotlight, a platform for showcasing exceptional student work. Winners of both initiatives will be announced during World Language Week, fostering a celebratory atmosphere. This session provides insights into promoting active student engagement and cultivating a deeper appreciation for world languages and cultures. All synchronous and asynchronous sessions are open to language teachers and learners everywhere, not restricted to Nebraska.
