From brief to CAD model and prototype in 1 week and 8 hours

Our client urgently needed a bespoke clip and knew that JET PRESS could design it, create a prototype and manufacture it for them!

The task was to design a specialised In-Air Cable Clip to hold a Ø15 vent pipe close to the side of an oil filter. After we received the brief from the customer it took our engineering department 1 week for the approved design. During this process they worked closely with the customer's design department. In less than 3 hours we had the part designed and CAD modeled. The printing of the prototype took another 5 hours.

To finalise the project and manufacture the production tool we needed 10 weeks.
