Neil Varney goes through training a Springer Spaniel for shooting in the working dog ring at the CLA Game Fair.

The plan was to film a ring demo, edit the video in the press room and upload to youtube by 11 o'clock on the first day the show. I meet Neil on the Thursday setting up the ring, he told me he was in the ring at 10 o'clock. It was OK for me to film.

The only camera I can use for my plan was my pigeon shooting head cam, the type cyclist's use, as it is the only format I can get to go onto my laptop. Using a video card.

The camera as no zoom but I did the best job I could with the kit I had.

However: I filmed the demo, got to the press centre and edited the video, logged into the internet and onto youtube. Clicked up load video and it said it would take 110 mins. It started then it was 930 mins. 15 hours for a 30 min video? turns out that the internet link had gone down. Not only internet mobiles where also down on the show ground. One trader told me on the way back to the UCSW stand that he lost a sale of a £300 fishing rod. So here is the video uploaded on sunday night.
