This was a rare day with not only snow but also hail, as it had been a snow storm the day before.
In winter, the place is deep in snow and the weather is often rough and snow stormy.
However, it is famous for foods such as "Kiritanpo" and "Hinai Jidori" and has become a popular tourist destination in Japan.
