After hours of intense trekking and crossing hundreds of steps, we were excited to reach Blue Lagoon and Rainbow Falls, but sadly, we were *not allowed to enter*. Despite the exhaustion and high hopes, this unexpected restriction turned the experience into one of the most disappointing moments of our Meghalaya trip. 💔

Still, the raw beauty of the forest, the traditional Khasi trails, and the iconic root bridges made the trek worth remembering.
