Honor Magic 6 Lite Review | Premium Style, Budget Price

Reviewing the Honor Magic 6 Lite, including an unboxing, camera test, gaming performance and battery life thoughts after a week of use. I've been testing the budget-friendly Honor Magic 6 Lite as my full-time phone for several days and yes, the software isn't great while the experience can be buggy. However, the battery life is sublime, you can game on Genshin Impact and that screen is a stunner. This smartphone can be yours from Jan 10th for a price of £349 UK.

Those specs and the camera haven't massively changed vs the older 5 Lite, but Honor has boosted the battery size and no complaints on longevity. Although the charging speeds are now slower, bizarrely. That 108MP main camera on the Honor Magic 6 Lite can shoot good looking pics but struggles with more vivid subjects.

MagicOS isn't massively great, and I have had some issues with apps locking up and the camera app borking up too. Hopefully all just early jitters, as the Honor Magic 6 Lite hasn't officially launched yet.

So are you tempted by this mid-range phone, one of the first of 2024? It's certainly a rival to the Motorola Edge Neo 40 and other budget mobiles, if you can overlook a few wee quirks. Get your own here, and use the code 'AM6lite35' to get £35 off until Jan 17: https://bit.ly/3S4CAeb
