Todoroki filled me in on Oshikiri's past. His father is Fudo Oshikiri, second patriarch of the Oshikiri family, which used to be part of the Omi Alliance. The Oshikiri family was an extremely violent faction, and Fudo apparently put Kenya through grueling training to turn his son into a hitman.
When the Omi disbanded, Kenya's mother took him away to Ijincho, but Fudo's apparently still searching for his son. It seems the reason Oshikiri's so desperate to get stronger is due to the fear of his father.
The Payback Boxer turned out to be Kenya Oshikiri all along. When he found out all his wins in the Genbukai were fixed, he started picking fights with his opponents to test his fighting ability. It was all to overcome his fear of his father, and win back his freedom.
In an effort to stop Oshikiri from hunting people on the streets, i challenged him to a rematch. I'm not doing it so i can settle the score - this time, i'm going to show Oshikiri the joy of boxing.
