This morning I spent a little time riding my bicycle around Saint John's in Portland, OR. It was getting hotter and hotter the longer I was out. By the time I was done recording it was over 90F out!


Join me as we sit on the end of the dock as the sun blazed. The rocking of the waves caused the dock to sway and it looked nice against the stillness of the humming bridge.



One thing I was thinking about while I was out here was that in no way was I away from other people. I don't only mean that it was crowded at the beach 200 feet away. But also the traffic in the sky, on the bridge above, the river traffic and activity, dogs swimming and barking, the sounds of the dock moving and the chain link fence preventing folks from jumping off into the water on the river side of the dock. When you think about it, a really chaotic place to sit and think for an hour.
