Anup Ghoshal Nazrul Geeti Sanjher Pakhira Phirilo Kulay and Nahi Keha Mor Byathar Sathi

Friends, our humble tribute to the legendary Dr Anup Ghoshal who passed away day before yesterday. He was not only the voice behind the iconic character Goopy in Ray's Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne released in 1969, but he used to sing any kinds of songs ranging from Rabindra Sangeet to Rag Pradhans with effortless ease. Even one of Pancham da's best compositions Tuzse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi was also sung by Dr Ghoshal. He was part of our growing years who were born in late sixties and early seventies. Personally speaking, although he was at ease with any kind of genres because of his God gifted voice texture, he simply excelled when it came to rendering Nazrul Geeti i.e songs composed by the iconic Bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. Sadly very few such songs are on public domain, hence we pay our tribute through 2 wonderful Nazrul compositions taken from my personal collection LP.
