Meet Sidhant Sisodia, a Bcom graduate and an Investment banker from Agra who has set up his polyhouse farm in Firozabad.

Sidhant was growing on a 35-acre open land. He wasn’t very satisfied with the cultivation on his open farms and due to the extreme weather conditions like heavy rain or hailstorm, he was losing most of the crops grown.

In 2019, after understanding this problem, he built 2 polyhouse farms in his village to protect the crops from harsh weather.

In 2020, he built 2 more polyhouse farms. Now, in total, he has 4 acres of polyhouse farms and he is planning to extend more in the coming years.

People from far places visit his farm and learn from an investment banker turned agri-entrepreneur who inspires them to start their protected farming.

His first production of seedless cucumber was 60 tonnes from a 1-acre farm. The crops on his farm had to go through extreme hot and cold weather. Yet, they managed to survive and give excellent production.

Sidhant’s satisfaction is not based on numbers. His satisfaction is based on the number of people he has impacted, inspired and employed.
