In the Biblical calendar, the cycle of the annual feasts ends in the Biblical month of Tishri. This is the seventh month of the Biblical calendar. The secularized version of this month is Rosh Hashana to celebrate the new year rather than the end of the year.
God gave Israel a calendar of three annual feasts to present the Gospel annually.: the feast of unleavened bread, the feast of Pentecost, and the feast of ingathering.
There are three holy days associated with Tishri: Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot. Yom Teruah occurs on day one of the month. Yom Kippur takes place on the tenth day of the month. Sukkot takes place from the 15th to the 21st day of Tishri.
Sukkot is the last harvest of the year. It reminds us that there will be a last day to repent and turn to God before He returns. Salvation must take place before the last day.
