HeartHorse Dressage - Sitting trot isn't Hell on Earth! A guide to sitting comfortably.

Описание к видео HeartHorse Dressage - Sitting trot isn't Hell on Earth! A guide to sitting comfortably.

Hey Guys,

Beth and I have been busy beavering away to make you another rather epic, even if I do say so myself, video tutorial! This time we take back our stirrups and learn how to really make the most of riding sitting trot.

I have squeezed so much into this video! Literally, we have edited and edited to condense it down. It's only 13 minutes long so what's that? 2 buckets of coffee?

Sitting the trot is probably the most iconic thing in dressage, like a ballet dancer elegantly twirling performing pointe work, the dressage rider effortlessly sits to the enormous movement of the trained dressage horse.

I will give you position tips for the classical seat and my warm up technique to get your hips moving with your horse, as well as the best way I have found to start off riders learning how to sit deep and relaxed.

A great position is NOT about sitting like the fairy on top of the Christmas tree, it is highly effective and definitely worth mastering!

Don't be put off! I talk a HELL of a lot about the feeling of riding, this is so So SO important and I genuinely believe everybody can learn to ride with feeling. Start by exploring the feels that your own body gives you. As you relax and become more tuned in, you'll feel more and more of the horse as well as yourself.

At the end I show you common position mistakes that you really what to try to avoid as they might seem minimal but they have a huge impact on your ability to progress training your horse.

I'm giving you a breakdown of the timings so you can scroll through if 13min of my squeaking is too much for you!.
