Creating a compelling Black and White photo isn't as easy as one click and done. Not if you want something that captures your viewer's attention. In this Luminar AI photo editing tutorial I'll discuss the concepts behind powerful black and whites, and then show some of the editing tools we can use to craft a great image.

Post processing black and whites involves guiding the viewer's eye to the important parts of the photo and away from areas that are less important. This edit shares some of the tools and techniques I use to do this. We're working on a black and white portrait conversion but the concepts work equally well on landscapes and other genres of photography.

I show a couple of other styles towards the end of the edit and if you'd like to see how to recreate these yourself just write "more please" in the comments and I'll put another video together on this.
