This Supercell actually occurred later in the Evening on June 3, after the first round of damaging storms ripped through the area earlier in the afternoon. Unfortunately I arrived too late to document the first line, but I was able to position myself perfectly for this second round. The main cell developed a rotating updraft and became tornado warned as it crossed into New Jersey. Just minutes before impact, the storm began to transition to a more outflow dominate mode, and developed a stunning striated shelf cloud as the rain cooled air blasted forward. Thanks to mid level winds up to 60kts, the storm was able to produce wind gusts possibly approaching 60 mph. Severe wind gusts blasted the area for over 5 minutes, producing extensive tree damage and numerous power outages.
