Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards - Pop Star : Stage 1

Описание к видео Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards - Pop Star : Stage 1

Now for something very different compared to most of the videos on my channel... I decided to record a game I have never ever played before, thus, this run is going to be entirely blind! What does this mean? Well, this means this will definitely NOT be a no-hit run, and there will likely be at least a few deaths since I have to make my way through the stages without any previous knowledge of what they are like.

Kirby 64 is one of those games I have wanted to try for quite awhile... it does not emulate all that well, though, so I did not try it that way... but then Shagg decided to be quite generous this past Christmas and offered to send it to me via the virtual console as a Christmas gift. The game is very, very fun so I was quite thankful for the gift, and as something special I decided to go ahead and record my first time through the game.

This Kirby game has a couple of things going for it to make it stand out from others... The first is the ability to actually COMBINE two powers to make a new one! Sometimes the results are great, other times they are just horrible, but it does give a lot of new variety to the powers. The other thing is the Chrystal Shards to collect in every stage. Each stage has 3 of them to collect, and they tend to get progressively harder to find as the game goes on. Since I do not know in advance how to collect them in each stage, I will be sure to cut out my blind stumbling and just show how I got the shard if I did not get it on my first time through the stage.

The first stage is pretty basic as one would expect, though. It gives you most of the regular powers in the game you can work with, so you can have some fun trying them and combining them. The crystal shards are incredibly simple to get in this stage as only the last one can be tricky, and even then, the power required to get it is in the same room as it anyways.

Thanks again to Shagg for giving this game to via the Virtual Console on the Wii. At this time I have finished it completely and it was quite fun all the way through.

Enjoy!~
