Some days, chronic pain feels louder than everything else. In this video, I’m sharing honestly about a morning when I didn’t want to get out of bed. Walking hurt. Moving hurt. Existing hurt. I haven’t felt pain this intense since September 2025, and when it flares like this, it brings more than physical discomfort — it brings depression, low motivation, and mental exhaustion.

Pain can make even basic hygiene feel impossible. But in the middle of that heaviness, something unexpected happened. Bubba, my talking toddler, told me I “stink” 😅. As funny and blunt as toddlers are, it was the nudge I needed. I got up. I showered. I brushed my teeth. And afterward, I went into the kitchen and cooked Bubba breakfast.

That may sound small to some, but to anyone living with chronic pain, you understand how big that is. I’m proud of myself for doing what I could that day. Not everything — just something.

This video is encouragement for anyone hurting today: keeping your body clean is an act of self-care, not vanity. Do what you can. Rest when you need. Celebrate the small wins. I’m reminding myself of this too 🤍
