Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, and collards
Salmon, tuna, and other oily fish
Eggs, nuts, beans, and other non-meat protein sources
Oranges and other citrus fruits or juices
Oysters and pork
A well-balanced diet also helps you stay at a healthy weight. That lowers your odds of obesity and related diseases like type 2 diabetes, which is the leading cause of blindness in adults.

Bell peppers give you the most vitamin C per calorie.
Vitamin C reduces the risk of cataract and is good for blood vessels in eyes. It’s found in cauliflower papayas, and strawberries.
Heat will break down vitamin C, so go raw when you can
Sunflower seeds and nuts: Vitamin E, together with other nutrients, can help in cataract and other eye diseases.
Orange-colored fruits and vegetables: Like sweet potatoes, carrots, mangos and apricots are high in beta carotene, a form of vitamin A.
Spinach and other leafy greens are rich in Vitamin C and E which are good for eyes.
Lean meat and poultry: Lean meat and poultry are good sources of zinc. Zinc brings vitamin A from your liver to your retina.
For vegetarians zinc is found in chickpeas, kidney beans and lentils etc.
Egg are good sources of many vitamins and zinc which in turn is good for eyes.
Broccoli: It come with many nutrients- Vitamin A,C, E. They are antioxidants that protect the cells in your eyes from free radicals.
