Since I came down with babesiosis this past summer, I've been seeing an infectious disease doc to make sure recovery is going as planned. Part of that is a CT Scan that needs Barium to "see" what's going on with my organs. Barium is a metal that will kill you if ingested - and I need to drink two bottles of it.
