VP Harris Spotlights Biden Policies in Wisconsin

Vice President Kamala Harris visited Wisconsin last week to showcase how the positive effects of Biden administration policies include communities frequently overlooked when it comes to creating jobs and small businesses.

As part of her “Economic Opportunity Tour,” Harris highlighted investments in infrastructure, apprenticeship programs, and support for small businesses through grants and opportunities.

“We are dropping trillions of dollars on the streets of America right now,” said Harris.
While Harris was in Wisconsin, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development revealed $40 million in grants to 165 housing counseling services nationwide, allocating $300,000 for Wisconsin. These funds are intended to help home buyers in enhancing their credit, accessing down payment assistance, comprehending mortgage terms, and recognizing housing discrimination.
