Join us as we celebrate a powerful moment in Tacoma’s history. The former Progress House Work Release will be officially renamed the Leo Charles Brown Jr. House at Tacoma Reentry Center, in honor of the visionary founder of Progress House Association.

For over five decades, Mr. Brown’s leadership transformed lives, restored dignity, and created pathways to opportunity for justice-involved individuals in Pierce County and beyond. This ceremony will reflect on his lasting legacy and the ongoing impact of Progress House Association’s commitment to reentry, healing, and community empowerment.

 Immediately following the ceremony, we invite you to join us across the street for a Community Resource Fair at:
📍 Faith Presbyterian Church | 620 South Shirley Street, Tacoma, WA 98465

 The fair will feature vital services, programs, and local organizations offering support in housing, employment, behavioral health, education, legal advocacy, and more—especially for individuals and families impacted by the criminal legal system.

This is not the end of Progress House Association—this is our rebirth.

We remain deeply committed to serving the community through our transformative programs under the Progress House Association company: The CHANGE Program, PHA Clubhouse, Palaver House, and The Unbreakable Squad.
