The stunning Rachelle had been thinking of shaving her head as a way of having a low maintenance haircut for when she travels the country. This is what she had to say -
“Why did I want to buzz my hair: It started with the idea of my next adventure: to travel across the country and the desire for a low maintenance style. The more the idea grew in my mind. The more I could visualize how it would feel, how it would look, how I would evolve as a woman.
The buzzing of my hair was intensely emotional. It was the release of past pain, hurt, and sadness. These are things I was holding onto. They held me back from growing into the woman I know I’m capable of being.”

“What would you tell someone that’s always wanted to do it but is a bit scared?: A buzzed head is a bold look, no doubt about it. It’s something you must be drawn and pulled towards. If the idea is in your mind, ask yourself, “How would buzzing my hair make me feel?” If the answers are confident, bold, sexy, fearless, daring, beautiful, gorgeous, free... etc then you are ready. Confidence, or any of the other adjectives listed, isn’t something you get. It’s something that you are. Sometimes a new look helps enhance and release what we already feel inside.”
