Treat yourself and your valentine with a classic Italian dessert Panna Cotta; it's infused with delicate vanilla and topped with delicious berry sauce! 🍮 🇮🇹 🍓 ❤️ ✨
Panna Cotta is so creamy, so soft, velvety, and beyond DELICIOUS. 😋
It's super easy to make it! You can prepare this on Saturday, and you have a creamy, silky, and delicious dessert on Valentine's Day.
Fill your home with the smell of vanilla and enjoy every single spoon of it!!!

RECIPE BELOW ⬇️

INGREDIENTS (Serves 6)
For Panna Cotta:
350 ml whole milk 🥛
250 ml full cream
100 g sugar
Cold water
3.5 leaves unflavored gelatin (6gr)
1 vanilla pod
Mint leaves (for decoration)

For the berry sauce:
200 g frozen mixed berries (You can use the fresh ones as well)
100 g fresh strawberries 🍓
80-100 g sugar (I used 80 g)
1/2 tbsp lemon juice 🍋

For Panna Cotta:
Cut and split it in half and scrape the collect the vanilla seeds.
Pour the cream, milk into a pan, and add the sugar and stir well.
Add the vanilla pod together with the seeds.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, but do NOT boil. When the mixture gets hot, remove it from the heat; let the mixture steep for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, soak the gelatine leaves in a little cold water until soft; for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the vanilla pod and rewarm the mixture. Bring the mixture to a simmer, add the squeezed, softened gelatin leaves into the mixture and stir until dissolved.
Pour and dived the mixture into small glasses or cups or both.
Let them cool to room temperature and cover them with plastic wrap. And place them in the fridge until firm, which takes at least 4-6 hours. (I let it set overnight.)

For the berry sauce:
Add the frozen mixed berries together with half of the cut strawberries, sugar, and half a tablespoon of lemon juice into a small pan; place the pan over low heat.
Stir occasionally until the berries softened. Cook about 5 to 10 minutes.
When it gets syrupy, remove the pan off the heat, and add the strawberries to it.

Now comes the fun part; let's serve it up!
Invert a plate on top of it and flip it over!
Top the Panna Cotta with the berry sauce.
Decorate with fresh mint leaves.

And your Panna Cotta is ready!
