Описание к видео EDSA 2000 (One of the best People Power documentaries ever)

"EDSA 2000: Landas ng Pagbabago," directed by Maria V. Montelibano, and produced by the People Power Commission in the year 2000 is one of the best People Power documentaries ever. It's pacing is fast and its aesthetics still attractive after twenty-one years, its chronology is very clear and it went beyond the political history to give the cultural perspective on EDSA by the great anthropologists Felipe de Leon, Jr. and F. Landa Jocano. It features interviews from some of the key players and ordinary people and was hosted by veteran journalist Teodoro Benigno and the young newscaster Vicky Morales.

This is where I got the list of Filipino traits that we can call "Diwa ng EDSA" or "Kalooban ng EDSA" which we exhibited during the 4-day revolt: Pananampalataya, Pakikipagkapwa, Pakikiramay, Pagiging Masiyahin, Bayanihan, Pagiging Mapayapa, and Pagiging Malikhain.

I kid you not, EDSA 2000 is an experience.
