Eight subadult Corydoras agassizii catfish in quarantine after purchase. C. agassizii is very similar to, and is probably synonymous with Corydoras ambiacus. It is very possible that in the future, scientists will make the name C. agassizii a synonym of C. ambiacus.

These particular fish have a lovely rusty-red colored head which is not always present in this species. The color is not particularly visible in the video because these fish are on a light colored sand; the colors become more intense when the fish are on a dark substrate.
