Frogner Park (Norwegian: Frognerparken) is a public park located in the West End borough of Frogner in Oslo, Norway.

Sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy (Sinnataggen in Norwegian), The Monolith (Monolitten) and The Wheel of Life (Livshjulet).

Vigeland was also responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park, which is one of Norway's top tourist attractions, with more than one million annual visitors.

The park is free to enter and open all year round, 24 hours a day.

Vigelandsparken is one of Norway’s most visited attractions with more than one million visitors every year. The unique sculpture park is the life work of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron. They all have one thing in common. All of the sculptures are of people – men, women and children – and they are all naked. Every last one of them.

The main theme in the park is the “circle of life.” This is also the reason why Vigeland said he displayed all the sculptures (except the one of himself) without clothes. He wanted them to be timeless. The people in the sculptures look just like we do today. He worked from 1924 to 1943 and then donated all his sculptures to the city. The sculptures range from humans in everyday situations – walking, sitting, holding hand – to more symbolic subjects such as “Man Attacked by Babies.”

Among the highlights of the park is “The Fountain,” originally designed to stand in front of the Norwegian Parliament. This location, however, proved controversial. In fact, when Vigeland Park was originally opened to the public it caused an outrage. The strictly conservative Norwegians of the time could not believe that a public park would contain nothing but images of naked people, some of them doing rude or intimate things.
