7 DAYS OF PAIN 😭😭😭
I got this vintage MCM Harmony House dresser for $200 off of @facebookmarketplace … plus $50 for delivery 😅 I lowkey knew it would be an awful experience but…. Somebody’s gotta do it 🤷🏼‍♀️

chemically stripped with @kleanstrip
used my carbide scraper to scrape off the paint on the legs
sanded with 120 and 180 grit using @3mabrasives and my @festool
used mohawk pre colored epoxy putty (medium brown color.. it matches walnut perfectly!) to repair veneer
used a wire brush & lacquer thinner to scrub the paint left in the grain
applied @minwax gel stain in the color Walnut
used my veneer paint kit to color match my repairs
applied several coats of @minwax oil based wipe on polyurethane

What do you think?!?! I ended up gifting this piece to my in laws because there was no way I’d ever be able to sell it and get a return with how much time I spent on it!
