This webinar run in collaboration with the ILO discusses the impact of Generative AI on different occupations around the world.

Based on a recent ILO paper, the webinar will analyse the potential global exposure of occupations to Generative AI to predict that the overwhelming effect of the technology will be to augment or transform occupations, rather than to automate them.

The webinar also discussed the impact of Gen-AI on different countries (i.e. high, middle and low-income countries) and female employment, and highlighted the need for proactive policies that focus on job quality, ensure fair transitions, and that are based on dialogue and adequate regulation.
