If you love the look of gold foil and you love yourself a DIY wood sign- this post is for you. Last year, I made a tutorial to use Deco Foil (any color of foil works!) on a wood sign. It was a paint on method and while I loved it... when I spotted the new Hot Melt Adhesive, I knew it had to be tested on wood! So this is my Deco Foil wood sign 2.0.

I cut out my hand lettered design (you can grab this design for free in my blog post, link below!) of Hot Melt Adhesive using my Cricut Maker, and ironed it on to my rustic wood plank sign before layering on my rose gold foil. The rose gold Deco Foil is my very fave of the colors- it's so dang gorgeous, especially on this wood sign!

I sanded it down a bit to give the foil an equally rustic aesthetic. I'm in love with it and I hope you like the tutorial too!
