In this demonstration, we learn how to compose a melody in SuperCollider using audio files. Here, the focus is on the \rate key and the "midiratio" method. Notice the syntax is similar to what we used for our MIDI instruments in Logic Pro. Please note that in this syntax, we won't have midi \keys, as we are not using MIDI data as our sound source. Essentially, the \rate key will replace the \midinote key.

For material, we use the Scale UGen.
Evaluating "Scale.directory;" have a SC output an extensive list of scales all across the globe.
