My sequencer broke... So I fixed it mid-show 💀

OK this is hands down the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to me during a set…! 20 sec into this vid

Last night I was playing at the New Era party in Oslo (which I loved every second of btw, you all were awesome❤️) and all was well… until it wasn't😬

People ask me every now and then “aren’t you afraid shit will break?” And so far I’ve always been able to respond that stuff hardly goes wrong. Until tonight lol.

One of my 2 drum sequencers (the one that I use for cymbals and percussion) was giving me weird flashing lights and stopped responding..! Which is obviously a nightmare scenario under any circumstance, ESPECIALLY during a set 🫠

In a snap decision I grabbed my screwdriver and opened up my setup. Turns out the sub and vibrations were strong enough to UNSOCKET MY CIRCUIT BOARD 💀luckily enough this was an easy fix, just pushing it all back together was enough to fix it. But doing so while still keeping the show running is not something I expected to be doing lol.

And the amazing Mikael Ortenheim was there to capture it all 😁

TLDR; Screwdrivers are OP 🤓
