Rabbit holes of research are all too tempting to me. I find myself wandering through entire warrens of knowledge when I should really be focusing on one specific topic. Well, it happened again...While refreshing my research for a medieval coif-making workshop, I ended up amassing such a trove of fascinating information, from tailoring, to gender studies, to medieval biblical scripture, that I decided to turn it into what I hope is a fascinating mini-documentary on headgear in the Middle Ages, peppered liberally with photos of some of the amazing extant medieval hat I discovered along the way and plenty of imagery from mediveal sources to add spice! I hope you enjoy! :-)
