Google launched a huge update in May 2020 called the "Google Core Update May 2020" - fancy name right, but think about it, it actually tells exactly what the update was. It's not some obscure name like Hummingbird or Pigeon or Panda which leaves people to have to then figure out what it means. We personally love the new naming convention!

And that's the heart of SEO and the update itself - content and user-driven intent. Knowing what the user is searching for, and providing the best possible answers to their question or search. This can be accomplished via content, or pictures, or video, and Google's updates take all these factors into account.
