Moonraker (1955). Before it was released as a film in 1979 starring Roger Moore, Moonraker was the third Bond novel by Ian Fleming and significantly different than its movie counterpart. After the death of another agent, Bond is assigned to investigate the leader of the company creating a nuclear missile for England. However, not everything is as it seems and it becomes apparent that London is in grave danger. Can James Bond stop the vengeful villain in time? Enjoy!
Abridged.
Ian Fleming (1908-1964) Worked for Britain’s Naval intelligence Division during WW2. This experience helped him write the James Bond novels beginning with Casino Royale. Mr. Fleming’s books got a major boost in sales after an article in Life Magazine revealed that From Russia with Love was one of President Kennedy’s favorite books. The first Bond film, Dr. No starring Sean Connery was released in 1962, two years before Ian Fleming’s death.
Roger Blake (1957-) has kept busy acting in small roles and bit parts mostly on television. He did receive 3rd billing for the 6-episode BBC cold war comedy All Along the Watchtower which you can watch on YouTube. Just search “All Along the Watchtower tv series” to find it. Mr. Blake has also appeared on Red Dwarf as Noel Coward, London’s Burning, Patriot Games as a constable, and has voice acted in the movie Flushed Away and on the TV show Splitting Image. Now we can hear him at his fullest as he stars in this audiobook.

P.S. Fleming's From Russia with Love is also on GBOT. I'm surprised that someone hasn't produced a James Bond play.
