Intergenerational family trauma often happens in stages and impacts a family in many ways. Understanding your family trauma may take some time, some research, and some healing. Sometimes exploring family trauma can result in a lot of anxiety, anger, and depression. In more serious cases, exploring family trauma can trigger PTSD.
