We're making Snickerdoodles! Chances are you've picked up a box of My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix or you've scanned the QR Code on the back of the box.

I absolutely love when a recipe can be simplified and today we're using My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix to get a head start. And, what is the result? Well, it's the better than homemade taste of a classic sugar cookie with the perfect cinnamon sugar topping.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and here's a quick refresher on how to make My Better Batch Sugar Cookie Mix, the base of today's recipe:
1 Box My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix
1 Large Egg
8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened

"Additional Ingredients"
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 TBSP Cinnamon

To make this Snickerdoodle recipe follow the instructions on the back of My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix box to make the base. In the base of the stand mixer, add My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix + Egg + Unsalted Butter. Turn your mixer on medium-low and allow these ingredients to fully combine. Yes, it's really that simple! The temperature of your butter really does make a difference in your finished cookies. If you don't have a stand mixer or hand mixer, have no fear. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl, stir to combine as best you can, and roll up your sleeves to hand-knead the dough.

Before scooping the dough, make the cinnamon sugar topping. To do this combine:
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 TBSP Cinnamon

Use a cookie scoop or spoon to scoop about 2 TBSP dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
Roll each 2 TBSP scoop of dough into a ball in the palm of your hand and then into the cinnamon sugar topping before placing them onto the parchment-lined cookie sheet.

Bake for 9-11 minutes in a 375 degree oven until the edges are set and the top of your cookie no longer has a shiny appearance. Once your cookies are done baking, cool for about 5 minutes before removing them from the baking sheet.
