Here is a Ganesh Vandana in the rare raga Jansammohini by our favourite Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande.

The remover of all obstacles, the harbinger of good luck and the giver of wisdom - Bappa is also known for his knowledge & love for music!

This bandish sung in praise of Ganesha by Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande is set to Raag Jansammohini which was originally known as Raag Shiv Kalyan. The raga had gone out of circulation till Pandit Ravi Shankar brought it back to the stage.

In this dazzling performance on the day of Anant Chaturthi, Deshpande brings back India's age-old culture of offering deference to this deity with the purest form of music.
