Rule of Rose is a simple story told in a complex way, to highlight the beauty and ugliness of the best and worst parts of humanity. Join me as I go over what makes this game what it is to me, and put the story into chronological and much more digestible format.

Below this point are more notes I didn't feel would fit into the video, or for one reason or another I just didn't include.

-The real Joshua is never actually seen in game. The only version we ever see is Wendy dressed as Joshua.

-Though we play as adult Jennifer (19yo) this is merely a projection. We only see the real Jennifer in moments when she was strong-willed. So while she appears to be an adult running around in a world of children, she is not.

-About the resolution.. Sorry it looks so rough. It's straight from PS2. No upscaling or sharpening going on. Just a 480p image blown up bigger than it should be.

-I avoided some of the worst of hoffmans clips and, unlike my original cut of the video, did not showcase his cut audio and instead decided to just explain what some of it is. If you want to hear hoffmans cut audio I still have it in the original version of this video linked below... just prepare for cringe editing and performance. I also avoided some more side theories about him and clara, and claras abortion etc as I didn't think it was necessary with everything else going on.

Lastly this video is a remake of the last 10 minutes of my original Rule of Rose video from 2015. I wasn't happy with my old one and this was the only part of the original 30 minutes I thought was important, hence why I didn't remake the whole thing.
