The new Dokapon! Sword of Fury remaster has several differences between it and the original. Different art and backgrounds are used consistently throughout the opening, as well as different visual elements are added to fill in the new widescreen display. Two dancing Wiwi can also been seen at the bottom of the screen during the gameplay cube section.

Strangely, Burikin's name is accidentally spelled as "Brikin" in a section of the remastered opening movie. It is then spelled correctly in the scene directly afterwards. This accident can also be seen with Valtz, first being spelt as "Valts," then being spelt correctly in the scene afterwards.
